Hello everyone, meet Oleńka. A lovely and no less energetic young lady whom I met over a year ago. Back then she was still in her mummy’s tummy, at our first maternity session together.
Ola’s mum blossomed during her pregnancy, and the tiny fruit that came into the world was just as beautiful. Ola’s newborn session took place exactly a year ago.
You have no idea what a pleasure it is when, after a maternity session, the whole family comes back to me 🙂
It is a real privilege to be with them at these special moments. The bump, the baby and now a delightful one-year-old who already has a mind of her own!
You have to admit she is a lovely little girl, and that smile steals your heart 🙂
The birthday cake that didn’t impress Ola
At birthday sessions the main prop is usually a birthday cake doomed to destruction — the so-called cake smash. Ola, however, did not share our enthusiasm for destroying the cake. After touching it once, she decided that whipped cream on her hands and clothes was not what she needed at that moment. She preferred to feed the cake to her mum and demanded a rusk for herself. She also changed into a second outfit — available for sessions in my studio. It is a lovely bodysuit and a Pin up headband by Small design.
What a first birthday session looks like
It was a very energetic meeting 🙂 Photo sessions for children aged around one usually last from 1 to 1.5 hours. Little legs can already crawl nimbly, and sometimes walk, so it is an hour of very intensive work — I usually spend it as if I were at a fitness class. I work close to the floor, with lots of lunges forwards, backwards and to the sides. All the while I chirp until I’m out of breath, turning into a kitten, a puppy, a tractor and other funny-sounding characters 🙂 And the results — with such lovely models, they have to be great 🙂
