Maternity session in my Warsaw studio

You don’t need to be a professional model to have beautiful, professional photos. Most of the women who come to me have no experience in posing — that is my role. I will guide you step by step: from deciding on the looks you like, through choosing from the dresses waiting in the studio, to posing. Like in a mirror, you can copy proven poses after me, and then you will choose the photos in which you like yourself most.

All you need to bring is underwear that suits the outfits you choose. If you like the white lace dress, bring a white set of underwear; if you love black-and-white photos in classic black dresses or a maternity bodysuit, bring a black set. A universal option is smooth nude underwear. More intimate shots, where we cover more than we reveal, are also increasingly popular — for these looks it is best to bring a new set of underwear, lace or sporty, depending on your taste.

For every session I warmly recommend having your make-up and hair done by a professional make-up artist. I will gladly give you the contacts of make-up artists I trust, who will come to you or invite you to their own studio.

Apart from the bump, we focus on portrait shots, so if you like the dresses with an open neckline and you have a favourite piece of jewellery that will go with them, bring it with you.

In my maternity photography studio it is spring all year round — I have whole shelves of high-quality artificial flowers from which we can conjure up a summer meadow even in winter. In season we use fresh flowers, so if you have favourites, we can include them in our plans. They are not included in the session price, but if you are going to make dreams come true, you might as well do it properly.

In my studio there is a magical spot with a beautiful oval bathtub, where we can take stunning photos in milk and flowers. Both maternity and newborn photos are taken here. A bath like this is a lovely way to end any session — besides the photos, you also get a moment of spa and relaxation. This option is charged extra.

The dad-to-be is more than welcome at the maternity session. Prepare an outfit for your partner that matches the dresses you like — with mum’s elegant outfits, plain trousers, a plain shirt in muted colours or a single-colour T-shirt, and smart shoes with plain socks work best. If your model is reluctant to pose, reassure him that his role is simple — he only has to support and hug his partner. Sometimes a look into her eyes or at the bump, and his work takes about 10 minutes of the whole session, while the keepsake stays for a lifetime.

Write to me through the contact form and give me your due date. It is best to book the session when your bump is clearly visible but you still feel well. I will book a date and match the looks, and we will meet in the intimate atmosphere of my studio in Warsaw.
