Christmas, Christmas! Christmas in my studio started as early as November and lasted almost two months. See how I turned my snow-white oasis into a festive little nest for photos.
I set up my Christmas photo studio from scratch every year. My photo studio is ready for Christmas sessions for the youngest models.

For this year’s sessions I prepared three corners, each with a slightly different character. All of them are warm, cosy and festive, with lots of toys and decorations for the youngest models.

My Christmas sessions were visited mainly by my little friends from newborn sessions. So the whole set was prepared in a mini version, with everything at their eye level and within reach of little hands.
Photos 4 and 5. Photos on old wooden boards, minimalist style.
For the smallest models, just a few months old and not yet sitting up on their own, there was a small, soft seat. It helped them keep their balance for those few minutes of photos before we moved on to tummy-down poses.
The Witch’s Gingerbread House
Here is a photo of the second set, with a gingerbread house and a little piano on which you could bang out a joyful racket. The little models loved it. A scene straight out of Hansel and Gretel. But don’t worry, there was no witch.

There were also outfits for the session waiting in the studio. I must admit, though, that most models arrived in such beautiful festive outfits that my wardrobe didn’t have much work to do.
Family photos under the Christmas tree
And below is the set for families. On a soft, comfy sofa, parents and their little ones posed comfortably for festive family portraits.

Christmas came and went. The studio is going back to neutral colours, all white and full of light again. And although taking down the tree brings a tear to my eye, something new is already waiting 🙂
